Striking even one finished coin means cutting the mold and setting up the full run, so a sample is in effect the start of production. In its place, our goal is for you to see exactly what the coin will look like before we begin: this 3D mockup now, then the CNC die files once the design is final. Production starts only after you have approved both.
Names, ranks, insignia, flags, hull number 912, dates and every line of wording are reproduced from your artwork exactly as supplied. Nothing is changed without your written approval, and you approve the final proof before the die is cut.
3 inches at 4 mm, full color print over 3D relief, soft enamel on the flat areas, rope edge. The sunset, the cutter and the two uniforms carry too much shading for enamel alone, so they are printed over the sculpted relief, where the depth stays. Enamel fills the flat fields, and the lettering stays raised antique gold. At 2.5 inches the names around the rim run small; 3.5 inches is the presentation size.
Your mold stays on file. A reorder of the same coin carries no mold charge: you pay the per-coin price for the quantity, shown on the reorder line in the cart.
